View the collection of Manchester Met’s Images of Research finalists. The exhibition features some of the institution’s emerging researchers telling a compelling story about their research in a single photograph with accompanying abstract. After a successful run in the Grosvenor Gallery earlier this year, the photography collection will be on tour until the end of October.
This year the Research and Knowledge Exchange Directorate hosted its inaugural Images of Research competition. The event aimed to support research communication and promote our diverse research culture.
Early career and postgraduate researchers were invited to tell a story about their research in a single photograph and accompanying abstract. A total of 42 submissions were received from all faculties. The top 10 entries were displayed alongside their abstracts in the University’s Grosvenor Gallery.
