IN OUR HANDS: FEMINIST VIDEO COLLECTIVES IN THE UK
A collaboration between FEMINISMS IN PUBLIC and CINENOVA DISTRIBUTION as part of PROLOGUE 2018:
Feminisms in Public present an introduction to the radical history and ground-breaking work of feminist film collective Cinenova Distribution alongside a screening of work by women filmmakers from the North.
Join us for an opening talk from Charlotte Proctor of Cinenova, exploring the radical history of this volunteer organisation and its unique responsibility towards an extraordinary archive of material and film. Charlotte will then introduce a screening of standout works made collectively by women in the North of England, a rare showcase of radicalism and female collaboration.
