Poetry in Aldeburgh is delighted to announce our 2018 festival taking place on the weekend of 2nd – 4th November and featuring readings, workshops, films, and more.
The Festival is curated by Poetry School and the poet Paul Stephenson.
Paul Stephenson, who is volunteering his time to Poetry in Aldeburgh, has orchestrated the festival’s line-up of readings, continuing the tradition of bringing the world’s best poets to the Suffolk Coast.
With 20 years of experience as the UK’s leading provider of poetry education, Poetry School has a high-quality, unique and diverse line-up of workshops, talks and educational opportunities for writers.
Carol Ann Duffy is one of the three patrons of the festival and read in Aldeburgh in June with Gillian Clarke and Imtiaz Dharker and Rebecca Goss.

*We have Jean Sprackland and Zaffar Kunial headlining on the Saturday evening, reading with Glyn Maxwell.
*Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon, MMU graduate Elisabeth Sennitt Clough is reading and discussing women poets and poetry submissions in her role as editor of The Fenland Reed
