Andy Warhol stated that ‘good business is the best art’. Do we agree and embrace this idea? In this turbulent global moment, it’s time for a fresh and constructive look at art’s role in the economy.

Join our experts from the worlds of economics, finance and the digital and creative industries for an evening of inspirational and provocative talks, demos and discussion, at the bank-turned-creative co operative The Roco.

On the first weekend of July we will be presenting Site Gallery’s new mobile space, On The Road, at Victoria Quays (formerly Sheffield Canal Basin). While we continue with building works to expand the gallery on Brown Street, we are bringing our events to you. We are partnering with London-based arts organisation Up Projects for this pop-up, who will be mooring their bespoke cinema-boat – the Floating Cinema – to the Quays, to launch an eight stop route across Yorkshire’s waterways.

We are looking for young people to get involved in our On The Road project. This is a unique opportunity to help create an amazing mobile gallery space ready to roam around Sheffield. It will be a magical making space where local and international artists will work with Sheffield’s young people.

Get involved with the design, the making and the filming of the project or help organise the incredible events we have coming up. You will gain really valuable experience, be part of the gallery team at an exciting time for Site Gallery and the Sheffield arts scene.

    Site Gallery Expansion

In March we began building works to expand our gallery on Brown Street.  Our building is now closed to the public, but you can keep up to date with our progress on our website or follow our Instagram and Twitter feeds, using #BuildingSite
