Web-Tech ‘121’ Sessions – Wednesdays, 11am & 3pm from 10th October 2018

Lewis Sykes, HARTS Online Coordinator, offers training, support and technical advice on online documentation, working with social media and setting up and structuring practice blogs and online research journals through bookable, one-hour Web-Tech ‘121’ sessions – 11am and 3pm weekly (Wednesdays) from 10th October 2018 ’til 3rd April 2019 (sign up sheet on the MIRIAD noticeboard next to Myna’s office, Room 1.11), First Floor, Righton Building.

Research-Online ’Drop-in’ – Wednesdays, bi-weekly, 12.15-1.15pm from 10th October 2018

For anyone who currently runs a practice blog and/or online research journal or is interested in setting one up there’ll be a bi-weekly, lunchtime (12.15-1.15pm) Research-Online ’Drop-in’ from 10th October 2018 ’til the end of Spring term, First Floor of the Righton Building.

Bring your laptop and some lunch and share and find about how other PGRs are using the Web, Social Media and other Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) to help structure, document and disseminate their research. This is an opportunity to share approaches and get feedback from other PGRs in an informal, supportive environment. There’s no fixed agenda – the group will decide how to use time to best effect.

If you’re interested in attending drop Lewis an email to express interest.

If you’d like to chat with Lewis but can’t make these particular time slots due to other regular commitments then arrange an alternative time – he can be found on the First Floor, Righton Building most Wednesdays, 10am-5pm during term times – or drop him an email – L.Sykes@mmu.ac.uk
