PAHC invites you to a celebration of the rich and diverse research conducted by our community of postgraduate research students via a gallery of short videos in which doctoral students reflect on the question “What inspired me to do my research”. Each video is no more than 4 minutes, with the final minute a reflection on what the student has learned in the making of the video, against the background of the ongoing pandemic. Many thanks to each of the students who has contributed.
For Tuesday 26th May, a gallery of these short videos was uploaded to Moodle with an accompanying poll to vote for the video liked the best. While the videos remained online after May 26th (and subsequently were also posted to Harts Online), we wanted to make that day special and invite Masters students as well as staff to the celebration.
The initiative provided our PGRs with opportunities to develop their online presentation skill and for us all to reflect the fact that although we are not able to come together on campus, our online community is thriving and visible. In the longer term the reflections of students in the videos will be a fascinating record, both contemporaneous and historical.
